Secrets of Success

1. In the opinioin of Richard St John, the eight secrets to make success are :
- To be passionate in what you are doing, because if you love what you do, it will be easier and more effective.
- To work a lot, nothing never come alone without that.
- To be concentrated. Working isn't sufficient, you have to work good ! Never forget or do bad something.
- Don't hesitate to push people who put themselves in your way, who want to take your place or destatbilize you.
-  To be creative ! If you have ideas, you become different than other.
- To always try to improve yourself and your work.
- To be generous sometimes, like that people will like you and maybe will want to help you !
- Finally, to persist dispite of difficulties and failure. Never give up !

2. In my opinion, the more important is to always respect other people. Because if you make success crushing other men, it's not really a success, you'd become a bad guy. It's not my vision of success. Moreover, to be respectfull and polite whith everybody could permit you to forward in your job and in your life, because you live with other people, so you can't make success all alone !

Two beautiful weeks in South Africa !

Dear Mum,
I am for 2 weeks in this beautiful and amazing country. South Africa is not at all how I imagined it.
First, I have been surprised by the diversity of population. In fact, there are a lot of colours, cultures and langages in South Africa, even if the majority of people are black and speak English. I laughted when an habitant tall me that he spoke "zoulou" !
I am particulary admiring to see how this country has made success to be in peace and touristing like that, after all political and social problems it knew in the time of Apartheid.
I have to talk you about my visit of the Mapungubwe park : it was incredible, I saw wonderful landscapes and animals. At a moment a giraffe was only at one meter of me. I believed I could touch her !
I also went to Johannesburg, of course. I was a little bit afraid because this town is famous for its criminality, but it not arrived me nothing bad, don't worry mum. I visited Museum of Apartheid, very interesting, and the Mandela House, because I have always been admirating for this great man.
I ate some typical South African cooking : I liked it, even if they have the bad use to put a lot of caramel in all their dishes !
My holidays are soon finished, I am sad. I don't want to come back, because i love South Africa !
Love,
Marjolaine.

My tips for freshmans

First, I advise to all  the students of first year to never put homeworks off until later, because you will have a lot of things to do, and if you think that you have the time, at the end of the half-year, you will realise that it's impossible to make all the works in so few time. Then I think it's important to be very concentrated in class, to listen carefuly the professor, like that you could have less work to do at your home. These tips are to make success in school. Then, in University, if you want to have better years, you have to make friends : try to speak with people even if you don't know them at all, et don't go on appearances ! It's interesting to make students parties sometimes, but not too often if no it will be difficult to stay concentrated on your studies.

A place to go

The place I want to present you is a pub in the little street near Notre Dame's place, called "Tout va bien". To go to this bar, you have to catch the tram B in direction of "Grenoble Cité Internationale" and to leave the tram at the arrest "Notre dame Musée". Then, you take the first street at your right, and there is this bar at the beggining of the street.
I like this place because of a lot of things. First, walls are pretty : there are drawing of Bob Marley and Jamaica's streets all over the bar, and there is good music : old reggae and dub. Then, the bar owner is very nice and smiling, it's nice to spend time with him. Finaly, beers are very low price, more than other bar in Grenoble center.
